Registered Nurse – Perinatal

Schedule: Day Shift

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state, or ability to obtain prior to start date
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP) certification
Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM) certification
The STABLE Program - STABLE Learner (STABLE) certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN required
Experience with EMR systems preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to perinatal patients, including assessment and monitoring of fetal heart activity.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on perinatal health and wellness.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and best practices in patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nursing unit.

Compliance / Notes:

Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Housing costs may be high during the winter months.
