This position will support both general education and special education students by providing social-emotional services, student support, and collaboration with school teams and families.

Position Details

• Full-Time
• Onsite
• 2026–2027 School Year
• Grade Levels: PreK–12th Grade
• Caseload: General Education & Special Education students
• Assignment: District-wide support
• Travel Required: Travel between school sites (campuses are approximately 1 mile apart)

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based social work services to students across grade levels
• Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Conduct student assessments and provide interventions as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education teams, and families
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide counseling, crisis support, and resource coordination
• Assist with behavior support strategies and student success plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements

Qualifications

• Active School Social Worker certification/licensure as required by the state
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience supporting both general education and special education populations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
