About the Position

Job Title
Registered Nurse – Cardio-Thoracic ICU

Seattle, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | 4x12-Hour Shifts | Days (7:00–19:30) or Nights (19:00–7:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardio-Thoracic ICU setting at a 1:1 patient ratio
• Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and PA lines
• Perform IV starts and administer treatments in accordance with ICU protocols
• Float within ICU units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Utilize EPIC for all clinical documentation and charting
• Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements and work 2 of 3 designated holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending license may be considered
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilators, IV starts, and PA lines required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Magnet-designated or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with cardio-thoracic patient populations and complex critical care cases
• Ability to adapt to dynamic scheduling and census-driven staffing adjustments
