Disability Services of the Southwest (DSSW) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Hippotherapy Therapist to join our expanding team in Texarkana, TX . This contract role focuses on providing assessments and therapeutic services to children and adults with disabilities-primarily participants in the CLASS program.

About the Role:


• Deliver hippotherapy services using equine-assisted techniques


• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support client goals


• Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for all sessions


Requirements:


• Licensed OT, PT, or SLP with hippotherapy training or certification


• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred


• Compassionate, reliable, and professional


• Must meet all state and agency background requirements
