Disability Services of the Southwest (DSSW) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hippotherapy Therapist to join our growing team in Texarkana, TX .


This is a contract position focused on performing assessments and evaluations for children and adults with disabilities-primarily CLASS program participants.

About the Role:


• Provide hippotherapy services using equine-assisted techniques


• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support client goals


• Deliver services in a safe, therapeutic environment

Requirements:


• Licensed therapist (OT, PT, or SLP) with hippotherapy training or certification


• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred


• Compassionate, reliable, and professional


• Must meet all state and agency background requirements
