Join Faced as we open our flagship Charlotte location this winter. Faced will join neighboring tenants Drybar, Williams Sonoma, Lake Pajamas, Sid & Ann Mashburn, and many others in Specialty Shops SouthPark.

Position Overview: The Studio Director is the executive leader of the studio and is ultimately responsible for its overall performance and culture. Core responsibilities include driving team growth and engagement, delivering an exceptional client experience, cultivating local community partnerships, overseeing day-to-day operations front and back of house, and taking full ownership of studio profitability and financial performance.

Reports To: Regional Director

Primary Duties:

• Drive repeat visits and membership growth by ensuring an exceptional, hospitable client journey from arrival to departure, including being welcoming, respectful of clients' time, and providing a clean and comfortable environment.
• Proactively assess client satisfaction and go the extra mile to ensure a memorable experience.
• Resolve client concerns decisively, empathetically, and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Champion studio standards to ensure an impeccably clean, calming, and luxurious environment.

Lead the Team

• Regularly provide in-the-moment and planned coaching/feedback to your team of estheticians and studio hosts.
• Empower team with tools, information, and confidence they need to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Lead the end-to-end talent lifecycle: recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and manage performance.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture; celebrate wins and resolve interpersonal conflicts with discretion.
• Maintain a pulse on team's strengths and opportunities; create ongoing training opportunities.
• A "no task is too small" attitude.
• Assist with laundry.

Performance Management

• Own the studio P&L: drive top-line revenue through schedule optimization, membership sales, and retail performance while managing controllable expenses.
• Develop new client acquisition and client retention plans.
• Analyze operational and sales reports to identify communicate trends, benchmark KPIs, and implement performance improvements with both the team and management.

Consultative Selling

• Articulate the Faced story, services, and product lines to educate guests and drive consultative retail sales.
• Check staff/client communications and provide feedback and coaching.
• Manage day to day front- and back-of-house operations, including optimizing staff scheduling, POS/CRM administration, and adherence to state board regulations.
• Manage inventory and supplies, keeping appropriate stock levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the studio.
• Lead operational audits and secret shopper initiatives to uphold brand consistency and service excellence.

Community Building

• Act as the local brand ambassador to introduce Faced to the greater Charlotte community.
• Plan and execute studio events, seasonal activations, and local marketing campaigns.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with neighboring businesses, influencers, and community organizations.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Management and/or leadership experience - minimum 2 year experience.
• Spa and/or luxury retail experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer and Microsoft Excel skills including use of a Point-of-Sale and CRM tool.
• Passion for skincare a plus.
• Will be expected to develop an understanding of the esthetics field and be provided initial training.

Schedule: Full Time with a variable schedule across weekdays and weekends, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. The typical schedule is 5 days per week including Saturdays.

Faced currently operates four Atlanta-area locations and is opening its first North Carolina studio at Specialty Shops SouthPark.
