Job Title

Registered Nurse – Post-Op Cardiac ICU

Contract | Rotating Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for post-cardiac surgery patients admitted directly from the OR in a Cardiothoracic ICU setting
• Titrate drips including sedation medications and vasoactives
• Perform chest tube and line removal, patient mobilization, and daily weights
• Care for a diverse patient population including CABG, valve, Ross procedure, thoracic, and aortic dissection cases
• Manage and monitor advanced cardiac and renal support devices including CRRT, Tablo, Aquadex, Impella, IABP, Heart Mate III, external VAD, and ECMO

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• Proficiency with vasoactive and sedation drip titration
• Familiarity with advanced mechanical circulatory support and renal replacement therapy devices

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Cardiothoracic or Cardiac Surgery ICU
• Hands-on experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, or VAD management
• Experience with CRRT or other continuous renal replacement therapies
