Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Provide specialized care for post open-heart patients, minimum of 1 to 2 days postop
• Operate advanced equipment such as Impella heart pump and CRRT
• Respond to rapid response and code blue situations as part of the critical care team
• Perform procedures including intubations and hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech system
• Explain care and medications to patients, ensuring a courteous and respectful approach

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Active RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Cardiac critical care experience
• CCRN certification is a plus
