Cardiothoracic RN - CVOR 3x12-Hour Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Job Description

The Cardiothoracic RN will be responsible for circulating complex cardiac and general OR cases, as well as vascular procedures. The RN is expected to handle various types of cases including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, valve replacements, and heart & lung transplants.

Responsibilities

• Circulate complex cardiac surgeries and other procedures in the OR.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Manage and monitor patient care during surgical procedures.
• Participate in on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiothoracic setting.
• Must be able to circulate complex cardiac cases.
• SC or Multi-state RN license required prior to the start of the contract.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA certified).
• Radiation badge required, provided by the agency.
