What You’ll Actually Do Leverage GetWyz’s proprietary financial modeling and calculations to help borrowers understand the long-term financial impact of their mortgage decisions—not just which loan they qualify for. Translate complex mortgage concepts into simple, understandable conversations that empower customers to make confident decisions. Review documentation, originate loans, and ensure accurate, high-quality files from application through closing. Communicate proactively so borrowers always know what comes next. Partner with internal processors, lenders, and underwriting teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, technology, policies, and the overall borrower experience. More Than a Job. The expectation is that as a leader, you will be in our Midlothian office while we work together to build out our mortgage business. There is opportunity for remote or hybrid work in the future, but only once it is agreed upon across all leadership that the team is in a comfortable enough spot to allow this. We’re Looking For Someone Who... Has 5+ Years of Mortgage Origination Experience with a majority of loans originated being purchase transactions. Holds Mortgage Loan Originator licenses in multiple states (or ability to obtain). Experience and a deep understanding of FHA and VA mortgages. Has exceptional mortgage knowledge and attention to detail - experience through a non-depository lender or mortgage broker is preferred. Loves helping people more than selling products. Communicates complex financial concepts with clarity and empathy. Enjoys technology and embraces process improvement. Thinks like an owner and wants to help build something meaningful. Willingness to originate and process entire loan files for 6-9 months while in a startup environment. Is excited by the opportunity to grow into a leadership position.
