Responsibilities Work directly with real estate agents to generate and close mortgage loans. Utilize leads from partner companies to close additional loans. Maintain a high-quality loan file and close loans efficiently. Collaborate with the mortgage and real estate management teams to support client success. Follow company policies and procedures for loan processing. Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED. Ability to pass national licensing exam (or hold current license). Current NMLS license in at least one of: VA, MD, WV, DE, PA, FL, TX. Two or more years as a Loan Officer preferred. General financial industry experience. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Strong computer skills and 1-2 years experience in mortgage software. Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Strong advisory and customer-service abilities, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Excellent analytical capabilities. Self-starter with a strong work ethic. General office skills – answer calls, coordinate messages, perform light bookkeeping. Ability to study material independently and adapt to new processes quickly. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle legally. Must be able to build relationships with real estate professionals.
