Personal Support Worker

$14 - $19 per hour

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Clawson, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
Monitor clients' health and report any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family members.
Document care activities and client progress accurately and timely.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar role preferred.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to client care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background checks and meet health and safety requirements.

Benefits

Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $14.00 to $19.00.
