Outreach Specialist

Outreach and Engagement Specialist - OmniRide OmniRide, a public transportation agency located in Prince William County, Virginia, is seeking an energetic and creative Outreach and Engagement Specialist to join our Marketing team and lead community outreach efforts, develop engaging content, and promote OmniRide services through digital and traditional communications throughout our service area. Key Responsibilities Plan and participate in community outreach events and public engagement activities. Create compelling content for social media, websites, newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials. Develop written communications, including the creation of engaging digital content including graphics, short-form videos, photos, stories, reels, and written posts that highlight OmniRide services and community partnerships. Maintain and update website and social media content. Collaborate with internal teams on special projects and rider outreach initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field. Experience in marketing, communications, public outreach, social media management, and content creation. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Valid Virginia driver's license required. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, or another language commonly spoken within the OmniRide service area, is preferred. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events. Salary Range $72,823 – $94,670 annually, commensurate with experience, plus attractive benefits. This position offers hybrid office/telework after an initial training period, and the home office location is Manassas, VA. Employment subject to background check and fingerprinting.
