Benefit Associate

: Responsible for administration and support of the benefit programs provided to employees. Participate in the administration of employee benefit programs, including but not limited to group life, medical, dental, vision, accident and disability insurance's, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Dependent Verification Audit oversite Work with Benefit Administration vendors to ensure accuracy and efficiency of electronic enrollment eligibility processes Research, analyze, and resolve complex Benefits plan and policy issues Develop and maintain policies and procedures to reflect changes in State and Federal laws as they relate to benefits Compliance activities related to ACA and COBRA as necessary. Assist with administration of VSP's Wellness program Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience In-depth knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, IRS Section 125, FMLA, FEMA, CFRA and Workers' Compensation In-depth knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and HRIS Ability to manage complex company-wide projects Ability to present information/programs to all levels of the organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties #LI-VISIONCARE #LI-REMOTE Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
