Full-time Internal Medicine Physician Assistant needed to join Dr. Widick and his established office-based practice at our Highlands Clinic. Hours are generally Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7 am - 5:30 pm (or until all patients are seen). At least 1+ years of previous experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an outpatient primary care office is required. Job Duties include: Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to adult patients (18+), including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice

Accurately performs a history and physical examinations

Consults, co-manages, and refers patients as appropriate

Prescribes medications as delegated in protocol and procedures

Completes necessary documentation promptly

Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with the scope of practice of the APRN/PA and the overseeing Physician

Providing an assessment of the patient's medical, physical & psychological status

Documents examination results & records progress notes and provides continuity of care.

Required: BLS certification is required.

PA board certification is required.

Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required.
