PA - Internal Medicine (Dr. Parekh) - Plant City, FL Work with extraordinary colleagues who share your dedication to medical excellence! Full-time Internal Medicine Physician Assistant needed to join Dr. Parekh and his established office-based practice at our Plant City Clinic. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (or until all patients are seen). At least 1+ years of previous experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an outpatient primary care office is preferred. Responsibilities Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to adult patients (16+), including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice

Accurately performs a history and physical examinations

Consults, co-manages, and refers patients as appropriate

Prescribes medications as delegated in protocol and procedures

Completes necessary documentation promptly

Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with the scope of practice of the APRN/PA and the overseeing Physician

Providing an assessment of the patient's medical, physical & psychological status

Documents examination results & records progress notes and provide continuity of care.

Qualifications BLS certification is required.

PA board certification is required.

Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required.
