Funeral Home Manager

Overview We are seeking an experienced, dual‑licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a funeral home and cemetery location. This is a working manager position . You will lead staff, serve families, and remain actively involved in the work and community. Responsibilities Manage daily operations and personnel Meet with families and direct services with professionalism and care Oversee the condition and maintenance of the facility, vehicles, and equipment Handle reporting, inventory, and vendor relationships Represent the organization within the local community Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations You will remain involved in removals, embalming, and services as needed. Qualifications Dual licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer Minimum 5 years of experience Leadership or management experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Additional Information This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires consistency, accountability, and a commitment to serving families at a high level.
