Aftercare Field Office Internships and Fellowships - January 2027 Field Office Deployment

Aftercare Interns & Fellows support the national staff with programming for casework types such as Human Trafficking, Bonded Labor, Child Sexual Assault, Intimate Partner Violence, etc., with the goal of restoring and rehabilitating clients. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive aftercare strategy in collaboration with IJM Global Aftercare and the Director of Aftercare. Support casework information management and enter case details into the Casework Tracking Management System. Maintain up‑to‑date statistics and information for the department. Help develop systems and processes for the Aftercare team as needed. Conduct research and impact assessments on the effectiveness of IJM Aftercare interventions. Develop and maintain partnerships with aftercare providers under the guidance of the Director of Aftercare. Draft best practices for rehabilitation and reintegration of IJM clients. Travel with IJM staff to meet with clients and work with area leaders (client interaction may vary by office). Complete professional writing assignments including grant proposals, program proposals, and program update reports. Provide logistical and/or administrative assistance to Aftercare staff as directed. Other departmental support as needed. Intern Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Organizational and administrative skills. Attention to detail. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows. Fluency in Spanish required for Latin‑American offices. Fellowship Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent. At least three years of relevant experience. Experience with program design and development. Training or experience in trauma counseling preferred. Experience addressing poverty and livelihood issues. Program Duration 12 months, from January 2027 to December 2027. Stipend Interns and fellows receive a monthly stipend to help defray expenses related to the internship. The stipend is not an hourly wage.
