Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Ashco Centers is a Jacksonville-based commercial real estate company focused on developing, acquiring, and managing retail centers. We are seeking an experienced commercial real estate paralegal to work directly with ownership and legal counsel on acquisitions, financings, development matters, litigation, and ongoing portfolio operations. This role offers hands‑on involvement in sophisticated transactions without traditional bureaucracy, billable‑hour pressure, or layers of hierarchy. The right candidate will materially reduce attorney and executive workload by owning key legal and closing workflows. Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Jacksonville, FL, for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. The paralegal will be responsible for: Supporting acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, leasing matters, title and survey diligence, development projects, litigation, and portfolio operations Working directly with ownership, lenders, brokers, title companies, and key decision‑makers Tracking critical dates, contingencies, and closing conditions across multiple deals using spreadsheets and checklists Reviewing and analyzing title commitments, endorsements, surveys, and policies Preparing closing packages, settlement statements, and post‑closing binders Drafting and assisting with litigation‑related filings and court submissions as required Providing additional transactional, legal, and executive support as matters require Qualifications 5–10+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, preferably in a mid- to large‑law firm, in‑house legal department, or national title company Strong working knowledge of secured lending, title, survey, and closing mechanics Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced deal environment Practical judgment and problem‑solving ability, including the ability to identify issues and propose solutions Clear, professional communication skills with attorneys, executives, lenders, and third‑party vendors Excellent time‑management skills and ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) #J-18808-Ljbffr
