The client invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Reporting directly to the President and serving as the institution’s chief academic officer, this highly visible leadership role will help shape the future direction of the academic enterprise, with a focus on creativity, interdisciplinary learning, academic excellence, and student success. As a key member of the President’s Cabinet, the Dean and Vice President for Academic Affairs will provide strategic and academic leadership for all academic programs and initiatives. The role will champion faculty and student success, advance the goals of the institution’s strategic plan, and serve as an advocate for the value of liberal education while strengthening shared governance and student-centered education. The successful candidate will be an accomplished scholar and academic leader with a distinguished record of teaching, scholarship, and service. They will bring strong collaboration skills and a deep commitment to shared governance, along with a vision to guide academic innovation and maintain a tradition of excellence.
