Demand Writer – Personal Injury   Growing Personal Injury Consulting Company | Remote

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM MT or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MT

Work Location: Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Demand Writer to join our team. This position will support personal injury law firm clients by reviewing case files, medical records, billing documentation, accident reports, and other case materials to prepare clear, accurate, and persuasive personal injury demand packages.

The ideal candidate is an excellent writer who can take a large amount of information and turn it into a well-organized, compelling narrative. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while consistently meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft comprehensive and persuasive personal injury demand letters and demand packages.
  

• Review police reports, medical records, medical bills, treatment histories, photographs, and other case documentation.
  

• Accurately summarize accident and collision facts, including liability and relevant citations when applicable.
  

• Prepare chronological summaries of clients’ medical treatment, injuries, diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing complaints.
  

• Identify important medical information, including diagnostic imaging findings, injections, surgical recommendations, procedures, and future treatment recommendations.
  

• Ensure medical providers, dates of service, diagnoses, procedures, and other case details are accurately reflected in each demand.
  

• Organize information from multiple sources into a clear and compelling written narrative.
  

• Proofread demands for grammar, spelling, formatting, consistency, and factual accuracy.
  

• Follow established templates, procedures, and quality standards.
  

• Manage multiple files and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  

• Communicate with team members when records, bills, or other information appear incomplete or inconsistent.
  

• Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• Excellent written communication skills, including strong grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
  

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies or missing information.
  

• Strong reading comprehension and the ability to review lengthy medical records and case documents.
  

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  

• The ability to prioritize assignments and consistently meet deadlines.
  

• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining responsive to the team.
  

• The ability to follow detailed instructions, templates, and established processes.
  

• Comfort working with multiple software platforms and electronic documents.
  

• The ability to learn and understand medical terminology, diagnoses, procedures, and common personal injury terminology.
  

• Professional judgment when handling confidential client and medical information.
  

• Previous experience in personal injury, legal writing, medical records, insurance claims, or demand preparation is preferred but not required.
