We’re looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Somers Point, NJ area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure the Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians’ work, manage outside orders, ensure quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations and maintain safety for team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. The role directs the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians; stages vehicle repair/maintenance work; drives sales initiatives; communicates directly with customers; assesses needs; provides repair/maintenance information; and ensures customer satisfaction. Qualifications To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States and possess (i) at least one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) at least one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
