Special Education Teacher - Parlin, NJ

Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s degree a plus) Valid state teaching credential in Special Education Experience teaching or student teaching in K-3rd grade preferred Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and classroom management Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adaptable and responsive to student needs Primary Responsibilities Deliver engaging instruction tailored to diverse abilities in a K-3rd grade classroom Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success Track academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional progress Modify curriculum and instructional strategies based on student needs Implement interventions and accommodations for students with a range of learning differences Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this position ranges from $30.97 to $50.97.
