Job Type Full-time Description Position Summary This role is responsible for preparing coffee kiosk beverages and food, operating cash register and receiving payment in a timely manner while displaying courteous guest service. Essential Functions • Greeting guests in a friendly manner and taking food and beverage orders • Prepare and serve quality beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones • Properly handle and maintain all equipment • Respond to orders, questions, concerns and complaints in a polite and efficient manner • Accurately handle cash, credit card and comp payments, following appropriate cash-handling policies and procedures • Serve guests quickly and efficiently • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings • Observe all relevant health and safety standards • Performs all closing, cleaning and stocking responsibilities at the end of the shift • Performs general upkeep and maintains setup in designated area of responsibility • Maintains general appearance of coffee station and order area • Perform all other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Manager or Food & Beverage Director Requirements Position Qualifications WORKERS IN THIS POSITION MUST BE 18 OR OLDER Competency Statements Communication Skills- Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally. Knowledge of regulations governing food preparation and service Education High school diploma or GED preferred Experience Previous experience as a barista preferred Computer Skills Microsoft Office beginner level Certificates & Licenses Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License. Must have OLCC temporary permit before the start date and obtain OLCC Permit within 45 days of the start date. Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of start date. Must obtain VIP (Visibly Intoxicated Person) Permit within 30 days of employment. Working Conditions Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period. Salary Description $18.00-$25.50
