Production Control Coordinator

Job TitleThe ideal candidate would be responsible for planning, directing and controlling parts through the facility for each engine build inducted into the shop. Ensuring the right parts are marshalled and ready for assembly on time.Job ResponsibilitiesTracks materials through the system to ensure material needed for targeted build dates are ready on-time or earlier than expectedPlanners ensure all material for build-up is delivered to the proper assembly area to meet the target dateEstablishes departmental priorities and develop the plans to meet those goalsOrders non-conforming material, expendables as well as arranging for the exchange of rotable parts that might delay the parts ready date (PRD)Ensures material meets configuration requirements per the engine workscopeEssential Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEducation:High School diploma or equivalent requiredExperience:MRO experience required – 1-3 years.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft OfficeBasic to advanced knowledge of Aircraft Engine Maintenance (CF6 experience preferred)Ability to use the engine manual, illustrated parts catalog and Service BulletinsMust have excellent follow-up and organizational skillsQuantum experience a plusSkilled in verbal and written communicationA&P license and previous Production Control experience in MRO preferredWorking Conditions / Environment / Special RequirementsAbility to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if requiredEmployees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulationsGeneral Commitment for All Employees:Commitment to company values and complies with department norms, policies, directives, and procedures.Strive for continuous improvement to processes and procedures.Honors and protects confidential and proprietary documents and information.Satisfies work schedule requirements.The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by the employee.
