MRI Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

PM shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a 5 × 8 hour shifts weekly, totaling 40 hours.

The MRI Technologist performs MRI studies following set protocols established by the Radiologists. The technologist operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality, prepares the scan room and equipment as appropriate, and positions patients, coils, and equipment as required. Maintaining communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure is essential to ensure comfort and clarity during the examination.

• Perform MRI studies per established protocols.
• Operate the MRI scanner to generate high-quality images.
• Prepare scan rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Position patients and equipment accurately for scans.
• Maintain effective communication with patients throughout the procedure.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of a Non-Degree Program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required.
• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist required.
• 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from the date of hire.
• Reg Technologist (R) certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred.
• Reg Technologist (R) (MR) preferred.
