Data Consolidation: Consolidate financial data to present a clear picture of performance, variances, and cost drivers. Performance Evaluation: Provide variance explanations and cost analysis to highlight opportunities for efficiency and improvement. Forecasting Accuracy: Strengthen organizational planning by producing reliable financial forecasts that support resource allocation. Talent Development: Coach and lead less‑experienced Financial Analysts, building team capability and future leadership. Strategic Contribution: Ensure financial insights and reporting directly support organizational goals and long‑term success. Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred. Experience: Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required. Lead Financial Planning & Reporting – Manage monthly close, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting activities for the Global Engineering and Product Strategy functions, providing accurate and timely financial insights. Support Strategic Decision-Making – Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support leadership discussions, business decisions, and the financial impact assessment of global engineering strategies. Partner with Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems Engineering Leadership – Serve as a trusted finance partner to the Engineering CMLT leader and leadership team, helping align financial performance with strategic objectives. Expand Product Finance Support – Contribute to product line profitability analysis and provide financial support for product strategy initiatives, investment decisions, and long-term growth opportunities.
