Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Department. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care, managing care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based on patient needs and team skills, supervising the delivery of care. The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, revises the plan of care as needed, monitors patient progress, and prepares patients for discharge.
