Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Current RN License in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS from AHA only, Must obtain 4 trauma credits within the first two weeks from start, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: Experience in cardiac telemetry, inpatient care, and competence in drug titration Description: This position involves providing direct patient care to all age groups. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments. You will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for individuals with cardiac conditions. The position requires maintaining professional accountability for the provision of patient care. You will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. The role includes coordinating patient care in conjunction with various departments. You are expected to maintain patient rights and ensure confidentiality of patient information. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time during duty hours. You may be required to perform significant bending, stooping, and lifting of patients with assistance. Flexibility in scheduling and shifts is essential based on patient care requirements. The position involves high-risk exposure to blood and body fluids. You will be part of a team committed to providing high-quality care and ensuring patient safety.
