The Muscle Care Orthopedic Clinic in Mission Viejo, California, is actively seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This is an onsite position in our clinic, which provides a supportive and collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify patients' goals, needs, and overall physical condition.
• Manage a caseload of six patients per day, providing one-on-one therapy sessions aimed at promoting recovery.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to devise individualized treatment plans.
• Administer a range of cost-effective therapeutic interventions that aim to enhance the patients' functional abilities and mobility.
• Emphasize preventative measures to reduce reliance on long-term medications and invasive surgical procedures.
• Create and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique circumstances.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and maintain documentation of patient progress using EMR Software such as WebPT.
• Motivate and provide ongoing support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, striving to maximize their functional independence.
• Promote healthy lifestyles by focusing on improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in patient care and comprehensive treatment plans.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population includes athletes, active adults, and elderly individuals seeking to regain their independence and mobility. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through tailored rehabilitation strategies aimed at improving their daily functioning and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A pristine professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in developing exercise protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with diverse patients and healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
