Our client, a prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm , is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Real Estate practice in New York. This role is well suited for a seasoned real estate attorney with deep experience in real estate finance , particularly on the lender-side , who can independently manage complex transactions from initial structuring through closing. The position offers significant responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value real estate financings within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an e xcellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York in good standing
• 7+ years of substantive real estate transactional experience

• Significant experience with real estate financing transactions , including lender representation
• Strong background in loan document drafting , negotiation, and execution
• Experience conducting and reviewing title and survey diligence
• Proven ability to independently manage transactions from structuring through closing
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and sound commercial judgment

Key Responsibilities

• Represent lenders and other clients in complex commercial real estate transactions
• Draft , review , and negotiate loan agreements and related transaction documents
• Conduct title and survey review , analysis , and resolution of related issues
• Provide strategic guidance to clients on real estate financing structures and risk mitigation
• Independently manage transaction workflows , timelines, and deal execution
• Interface directly with clients , opposing counsel, and other transaction participants

• Collaborate with attorneys across related practice areas as needed

• Competitive Salary : Expected minimum annual salary for this position is $420,000 , as determined by experience and market factors
