Senior Associate Attorney - Personal Injury Defense & Plaintiff (Fully Remote, NY)

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must reside in New York State and be admitted to the New York bar. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in either insurance defense work or plaintiff personal injury litigation. This dual-sided practice allows you to experience the stability of defense work with hourly fees, while also engaging in challenging and rewarding plaintiff personal injury litigation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is eager to break out of the monotony of a one-dimensional legal career. Responsibilities: Handle all aspects of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, and discovery. Represent clients in both plaintiff and defense personal injury cases. Develop and manage cases from inception to trial. Engage in business development activities to generate new clients and cases. Collaborate with senior attorneys to grow your skill set both in the courtroom and in managing the business of law. Participate in a dynamic, team-oriented work environment. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation, either in insurance defense or plaintiff-side practice. Proven experience taking depositions and managing motion practice. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow your own client base. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
