Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Operator to support inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving operations, and material movement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control systems, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Job Description

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods using Oracle.
• Perform daily inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and material consumption.
• Execute cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits by investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and product condition against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Process system receipts accurately to ensure timely inventory updates.
• Prepare, verify, and process outbound shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping documentation.
• Ensure bills of lading (BOLs), packing lists, labels, and other shipping documents are accurate and compliant.
• Track, investigate, and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies promptly.
• Review and validate all inbound and outbound inventory transactions for accuracy.
• Support production schedules by ensuring materials are available and properly staged.
• Follow company policies, internal controls, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas using 5S principles.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Train and support team members on inventory procedures, system transactions, and best practices.

S kills Required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain.
• Experience using Oracle for inventory management is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively with general supervision.
• Excellent planning, organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond effectively to questions.
• Demonstrated commitment to achieving results in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $20 - $23 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
• $3 shift differential for night shift

Additional Details

• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and climb ladders or stairs.
• Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements, including keyboarding and handling materials.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely when required.
• Maintain close visual attention for inspections, measurements, and detailed work.
