Senior Full Stack Angular DeveloperThis is a senior full stack Angular developer role that sits on the Web Development team. In this role, you will be part of an energetic team of professionals who are committed to tackling our toughest business challenges with innovative, balanced and measurable solutions. Silgan Containers is seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional who enjoys developing web-based software in a multi-disciplinary environment using Angular to include; technical analysis of requirements, frontend and backend development, testing, deployment and sustainment. You will play a central role in the design, development, and delivery of our web products. You will connect the dots between business needs, innovation, and good design. This position encompasses the full software stack where you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of applications.Essential Job Functions:Designs, builds and maintains enterprise applications software using appropriate programming languages. Applications are mainly web basedWoks collaboratively within small groups to discuss and plan architecture choicesCodes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements moderately complex software applications according to standardsDevelops and improves on new and existing specifications and programs, moderately complex technical modules, applications, prototypes and computer programsPerforms all aspects of applications programming and development including file design, update, storage and retrievalEvaluates and provides technical solutions to moderately complex application development problemsConcisely and accurately convey ideas and information in written and verbal form to audiences with diverse backgroundsOrganizes own tasks and meet established deadlines on assigned projectsTeam player with a strong sense of self-motivationGood ability to analyze, break down, and find creative solutions to difficult problemsProvide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of serviceEducation, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor Degree or extensive experience in software development in lieu of education8+ years of software development experience5+ years of full-stack web development experience using C# and Angular or similar client-side frameworks5+ years of experience developing HTML and CSS5+ years of experience designing and developing databases in SQL Server or other comparable database platformMust be proficient with object-oriented programming conceptsMust have a working knowledge of web development using most current versions of.Net coreAbility to solve difficult technical problems with effective solutions.Work in a team environmentAbility to communicate technical information, both written and verbal, effectively to all staff.LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER: The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
