Pharmacy - Pharmacist

Inpatient Pharmacist

This position involves working 7 days on followed by 7 days off. The scheduled shift is from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Later in the year, the position will transition to day shift to cover for a pharmacist on leave. Weekends are required, with every other weekend included in the schedule. The role will not require floating between units. No on-call duties are expected. Candidates must have experience in a hospital setting and some exposure to pediatric care. Applications from individuals with only retail pharmacy experience will not be considered. All staff must demonstrate proficiency in various pharmaceutical practices including but not limited to antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, pediatric dosing, and hospital acute care competencies. Candidates must be prepared to work three out of five major holidays each year. References covering one year of experience within the last three years will be required. All candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively and deliver a high standard of patient care.
