Sales Data Entry Specialist (IN OFFICE ONLY)

Job TitleEssential Functions / Responsibilities:Complete and respond to quotes per customer requestApply strong interpersonal skills via phone and email, to engage and understand customers' true needs and offer optimal solutionsRespond in a timely and accurate manner to all incoming tasks and outbound activities and resolve issues.Enter received ordersProvide applications and product selection assistance to customersRegular outbound calling for follow-up on quotes, opportunities, and leadsMaintain account relationships with key decision-makers' at assigned accounts and cultivate long-term relationshipsLearn about the industry and competitors' products, services, and capabilitiesSafety Sensitive PositionOther duties as needed or requiredWork Environment: The primary work environment is the office. Secondary work environment is the production floor.Employee may be required to lead production shop tours.Employee will have meetings in the shop requiring the wearing of personal protective equipment.Ability to assist a machine operator to understand process flow.Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.Able to lift up to 30 lbs and operate office equipment such as computers, copy machines, etc.Able to sit for prolonged time periods plus occasional walking to stooping.Required Skills and Qualifications:HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL & ORGANIZATION REQUIREDInside sales experience serving international customers and coordinating export documentation preferredExperience working for or with a manufacturer or manufacturer's representative preferred2-5 years' experience in sales of technology/engineered/manufactured productsA positive attitude along with the ability to thrive in a small company environment and build strong relationships with coworkers, customers and partnersMust be persistent, action-oriented, results-driven and self-motivatedExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.Experience using Customer Relationship Management software, Microsoft Office applications, and ERP systems (Visual would be plus).Special Requirements:-Safety Sensitive: This job is designated by Valley Forge & Bolt Mfg.
