Traveling Project Manager

Networks Connect is conducting a search on behalf of our client, a fast growing commercial construction firm specializing in building automation, MEP, and telecom projects. This Project Manager opportunity is ideal for a seasoned construction PM ready to take full ownership of complex, high-profile builds from the ground up. In this role, you will own the entire project lifecycle for MEP and telecom construction projects based in either Phoenix, Arizona or El Paso, Texas — from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout. You'll lead a field team of 15+ tradespeople and technicians, and serve as the central point of accountability across subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders. This is a hands‑on leadership seat for someone who leads from the front and holds a high bar for quality, schedule, and budget performance. Key Responsibilities Own the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout Lead and develop a field team of 15+ tradespeople and technicians Drive project flow to keep timelines, budgets, and quality standards on track Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless operations Monitor project budgets, track costs, and maintain financial accountability throughout each phase Leverage Procore to manage documentation, scheduling, reporting, and project communication Deliver clear, consistent project updates to leadership and clients Anticipate and proactively resolve project risks, conflicts, and delays before they elevate Qualifications Proven experience managing electrical, telecommunications, or fiber optics construction projects Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams and hold people accountable in a fast‑moving environment Proficiency in Procore and other project management tools Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage expectations at all levels Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Located in or able to relocate to Phoenix, AZ or El Paso, TX What's in it for you?
