Assistant Association Manager

Serve as the primary point of contact for owner and resident inquiries via phone and email Resolve issues with professionalism and urgency Assist 2-3 managers and support 10-15 communities Provide responsive communication to clients, residents, vendors, and team members Support the Property Manager with day-to-day community operations Coordinate vendors, process work orders, conduct site visits, and provide coverage when the manager is off Assist with budget preparation, banking tasks, and financial reporting Obtain vendor proposals and manage service contracts Enforce community rules and regulations consistently and professionally Attend occasional weekday evening board meetings, averaging 5-10 per month Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed Maintain organized records and task lists and follow through on open items Requirements 3-5 years of external-facing, high-volume customer service experience Preferred experience in HOA/COA association management, rental property management, or hospitality management Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Dedicated home workspace with high-speed internet Ability to travel within the Cleveland metro area several times per week Must reside within 45 minutes of Cleveland, Ohio Must pass a criminal background and credit history check before hire Property management experience is nice to have Experience with property management software such as AppFolio, Yardi, Vantaca, or similar is nice to have Familiarity with HOA governing documents, CC's, or community association regulations is nice to have Core Competencies Demonstrates strong customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism while managing community operations and vendor relationships. Proficient in financial reporting and budget preparation, with experience in property management and HOA regulations.
