Job Summary The primary duty of this position is to support the development and execution of sourcing category strategies and understand business requirements to maximize value. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end sourcing processes, spend and market analysis, running RFx processes, negotiating contracts and pricing, and supplier management. This role requires sourcing and vendor management experience to operate at all levels of the organization and the ability to move from strategic to tactical work, provide insights on market conditions and trends, and explore innovative methods to optimize value from goods and services providers. Responsibilities Leads the negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements with guidance. Demonstrates project management expertise from strategic planning through implementation. Partners with Category Development subject matter experts across multiple product categories for insights and knowledge. Proactively strategizes with business and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions. Leads and participates on cross-functional teams to develop meaningful requirements and ensure quality responses from suppliers. Researches and develops adequate sources of supply; leads supplier selection activities through formal RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes. Evaluates the financial stability of potential suppliers. Performs business analysis with a strategic focus on total cost of ownership. Continuously seeks cost-saving opportunities and leads efforts to realize savings. Maintains accurate records and data within contract management systems and sourcing tools. Participates in developing a strategic sourcing strategy aligned with business goals and market benchmarking; documents and gains buy-in across the organization. Develops and refines procurement processes to minimize effort and maximize benefits through compliance and specification controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of proven management experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/Sourcing with a track record of results. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Project management skills and experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities among cross-functional teams. Customer-focused orientation. Advanced analytical skills using large data sets and ability to draw actionable conclusions from financial models. Experience in managing a P&L or budget. Strong internal stakeholder management and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels. Advanced Microsoft Word proficiency. Up to 10% travel annually.
