Semco Carbon brought in dedicated recruiting support to fill this role, so it's a live, prioritized opening.What you'll be doingSet up and program B-axis/4th-axis rotary table work for complex, multi-sided partsIndependently set up and run Haas horizontal and vertical millsWrite and edit advanced G&M code, including cutter compensation and canned cyclesDesign and build tooling and fixtures for new and recurring jobsCollaborate with engineering on CAD/CAM programming for new partsTrain and mentor junior operators on the floorMaintain and organize the shop's USB program librarySupport sales and estimating with technical input on new workMachines, controls and softwareHaas horizontal and vertical milling centers, including 4th-axis/B-axis rotary tooling, running Haas controls. CAD/CAM collaboration is part of the role; no specific CAM packageis required.What we're looking forRequired:3+ years of CNC milling experienceHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to read blueprints and apply GD&TOwn standard machinist hand tools and precision inspection equipmentU.S. citizenshipComfortable in a manufacturing environment — dust, moderate noise, and lifting up to 70 lbs occasionallyPreferred:7+ years of CNC milling experience (senior level)Advanced G&M programming experience, including cutter compensation and canned cyclesB-axis/4th-axis rotary table setup and programming experienceExperience training or mentoring other machinistsCAD/CAM collaboration experiencePay, benefits and schedule$30–$38 per hour, based on experience.
