Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled MLT/MLS to join the laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and advanced laboratory testing to support diagnostic and treatment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and process patient specimens with precision and care.
• Utilize laboratory information systems to manage patient data, order samples, and record test results.
• Perform laboratory tests in hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology using automated and manual techniques.
• Analyze test results for validity and accuracy before reporting, ensuring timely communication of critical findings.
• Conduct quality control, proficiency testing, and maintenance of laboratory equipment according to policies.
• Participate in method validation, instrument evaluation, and staff training to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current MLT/MLS Generalist or Specialty Certification (BB, C, H, or M).
• Possess a valid certification in microbiology, hematology, blood bank, or chemistry.
• Demonstrate verified education with appropriate credentials.
• Have hematology and blood bank experience required.
• Be qualified to perform high-complexity testing according to CLIA standards.
• Exhibit strong troubleshooting and quality control interpretation skills.
