Human Resources Coordinator
We are looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the full talent acquisition lifecycle, along with day-to-day HR operations. You'll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and employees to ensure a smooth, organized, and positive experiencefrom candidate engagement through onboarding and beyond.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate all aspects of the recruiting process, ensuring a seamless and timely experience for candidates and hiring teams
- Serve as a primary point of contact for recruiting inquiries from candidates and employees
- Manage candidate activity and track progress in the applicant tracking system (SAP/SuccessFactors)
- Schedule interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and interview teams
- Prepare and route offer letters accurately and efficiently
- Initiate and manage background checks and post-offer processes
- Review new hire paperwork for completeness and compliance
- Support onboarding activities to ensure a positive new hire experience
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions and system support (UKG and other platforms)
- Generate reports and track HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, and employee relations data
- Support HR initiatives, events, and special projects
- Monitor unemployment claims and ensure timely responses
- Execute HRIS transactions, including job changes, transfers, and data updates
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 13 years of administrative experience, preferably in recruiting or HR support
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HR systems such as SAP/SuccessFactors and UKG
- Background in recruiting coordination or talent acquisition environments
- Exposure to onboarding, employee relations, or HR reporting
- Experience handling unemployment claims or HR compliance processes
- Comfort working with data, metrics, and reporting
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
