Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,222 per week

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist – Travel (New Orleans, LA) Agency: TNAA TotalMed Allied Job Overview Seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana. The position requires 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour days. Responsibilities Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create individualized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and their causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, including family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred); new graduates encouraged. BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. ASHA, BLS, and 2 years of experience; additional certifications may be required before assignment.
