Mechanical Technician - Prototype Aircraft - Aerospace/Defence - Torrance, CA Our client, working on a first-of-a-kind prototype aircraft , are looking to bring on a Mechanical Technician to help the assembly efforts. The company has serious engineering momentum, strong commercial traction, and concrete investor backing - they now need to build! Responsibilities Assemble, install, test, and maintain mechanical components and systems in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. Perform mechanical inspections, measurements, troubleshooting, and functional testing of equipment and assemblies. Use hand tools, power tools, precision measurement equipment, and mechanical test equipment safely and effectively. Identify and resolve mechanical issues, supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain accurate technical documentation and comply with all quality, safety, and defence-industry procedures. Experience Experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, manufacturing, or a related technician role. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with mechanical tools, precision measuring equipment, and inspection techniques.
