Manufacturing/Mechanical Technician
We are seeking a skilled technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint-reading skills to join our team in Torrance, CA. This role involves working with complex aerospace parts, requiring precision and attention to detail.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
- Ability to operate production equipment for manufacturing and assembly of products
- Prior work experience in the aerospace industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with balancing aerospace parts
- Knowledge of GD&T dimensions
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment for the manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products
- Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met
- Work under general supervision, demonstrating creativity and judgment to accomplish goals
