About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Behavioral Health with a strong background in the industry to lead the strategic and operational management of its outpatient behavioral clinics and provide consultative leadership for an acute psychiatric care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all operations, ensuring compliance with quality and economic healthcare service objectives. This role demands a leader with a Master's degree in business or a related healthcare field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and a minimum of 7-10 years' professional-level experience in behavioral health. The Vice President will be accountable for the financial integrity of the facilities, public and physician relations, and all business development efforts. They must have a proven track record in strategic planning, and be adept at managing multiple service lines, and both capital and operational budgets. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should possess a diverse skill set that includes above-average aptitude in planning, organizing, directing, and implementing. The role requires a leader with emotional stability, objectivity, and the ability to facilitate staff development and program growth. Knowledge of clinical and behavioral quality standards, as well as operational standards in the healthcare industry, is essential. The ideal candidate will be influential, with the ability to attract, develop, and retain talent, and will operate with the highest moral and ethical standards. They must be capable of managing a complex, integrated operational structure and be skilled in using influencing, negotiation, and conflict-resolution techniques. The Vice President will also be responsible for ensuring that the business objectives of the behavioral health division align with the organization's goals in the areas of people, quality, growth, service, and finance.
