PROFILE
Our client is a newer manufacturing plant in the greater Summerville, SC. area and has seen recent growth to include a recently added 3rd shift operation. They have a great product and customer base and plans to continue to grow in the future just as they are right now.POSITION
This role of an Accountant is a newly created role and has been established to help support the existing Accounting/ Finance team already established at the plant. This is a heavy industrial manufacturing facility supplying the heavy truck industry and ideal candidates will have experience supporting finance functions at other high speed manufacturing environments. In this role you will take on day to day accounting functions such as general ledgers, AP/AR, forecasting and some costing. You will work with other plant departments on budgeting and make sure all reporting is accurate. This facility primarily uses SAP for plant operations and ideal candidates will have some working knowledge or experience of using SAP.REQUIREMENTS
Must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment in Accounting or Finance roles Must have previous GAAP experience Must have general ledger, AP/AR knowledge Must be able to work within teams, small groups or alone Must have a demonstrated ability to have keen eye to detail Ideal candidates will have SAP experience Ideal candidates will have some Cost Accounting experience but is not required Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder, no sponsorship is available for this roleRESPONSIBILITIES
