Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating a spectrum of illnesses, working in tandem with physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Empowering patients and families through education on wellness, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in alignment with your professional standards
• Participating in follow-up visits and chronic care initiatives
• Engaging with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Documenting patient interactions diligently within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education & Certification Necessities

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington state
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire them within 90 days)
