The person in this role will assist with the day-to-day operations through providing management support throughout the plant. The shift supervisor will also assist with training employees, enforcing company policies and procedures, and will ensure that quality standards are being met.**Requirements:*** Five years or equivalent in related field is preferred.* Minimum of a high school education or equivalent is required. Technical degree is preferred.* Leadership skills.* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Experience using computers and other office equipment.* Capable of sound decision making.* Great team player and takes initiative.* Mechanically savvy* Safety conscientious.* Highly organized and strong attention to detail.* Capable of working with diverse group of individuals.* Knowledge of hazard communication standards and PSM, preferred.* Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.* Able to work rotating night and day shifts (including rotating weekends and holidays).Ag Processing Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.**Responsibilities:*** Provide management support through supervising the plant workers' activities including training employees, determining methods for employee work, and scheduling.* Monitor and maintain processing supply inventory through completing orders of supplies and documenting amount of supplies on hand.* Enforce company policies and procedures.* Develop and manage projects as assigned.* Attend company meetings.* Perform other duties as assigned by management.**Organization Summary**:Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products.
