This role ensures compliance with all security regulations and standards, mitigates risks, and manages security personnel and systems.Job Responsibilities*** Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific security plans, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate security guidelines and industry best practices.* Manage and supervise security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.* Conduct regular security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and audits to identify potential threats and recommend preventative measures.* Oversee the operation and maintenance of all site security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.* Investigate security incidents, breaches, and suspicious activities, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.* Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other external agencies as required.* Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for all site employees.* Manage security budget and resources effectively.* Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international security regulations and standards (e.g., CTPAT, TAPA).* Coordinate emergency response plans and drills, including fire safety, natural disasters, and active threat situations.* Implement and manage visitor management protocols and contractor security requirements.* Conduct background checks and security screenings for new hires and contractors as per company policy.Job Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.* Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in security management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or corporate environment.* Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security programs and policies.* Strong knowledge of security technologies, including access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems.* Excellent understanding of security best practices, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response protocols.* Familiarity with relevant security regulations and standards (e.g., CTPAT, TAPA, ISO 27001).* Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.* Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are highly desirable.* Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
